The ThistleHillMedia Archives were started in 1978 and began with 19 hours of Battlestar Galactica from the orginal ABC airings on 3/4 inch tape and 14 episodes of Star Trek and 4 episodes of Kung Fu on 16 mm film. In 1980 with the addition of VHS and Beta VCRs the collection began to grow, eventually comprising over 20,000 videotapes. Some 10,000 or more were destroyed in a fire in 2003, but many of the best programs had already been digitally preserved. We prefer not to dwell on what was lost.
We have most episodes of the series that are listed on this sight except where noted. Thanks for checking us out and to those who have already been our customers on ebay and yahoo Thanks! We look forward to doing business with you again. All titles are currently available as only on DVD.

The Thistle Hill Media collection
is made up of the combination of several private collections of vintage television programs of all kinds. Copies of our masters have satisfied many customers . We do not compete with any commercially available products, but try to supply those programs not otherwise available .Most of our master recordings after 1984 (and a few before then like Galactica and some Buck Rogers )are original first run full length unedited first generation airchecks ,a complete recording of the entire program that comes with commercials. In some cases that is what we are selling, we can sell the public domain commercial material, the program material in these airchecks is free. Think of it as a reference for how the commercial looked as it played within the program. What was the first product advertised on Airwolf? (Jeep) Many satisfied customers are pleased with their trip down memory lane that the complete program, bumpers, promos, previews and commercials. But few people want their shows this way so with commercials is a custom option on some shows .
Most are now available in SP with no commercials as more people prefer them this way.
A word about TRADES, we usually don't. Most of what we have received in trade has been a couple of levels down from our stuff.And we only trade DVDs for DVDs encoded from tape or DVD masters only, not from VCD. As we are no longer archiving tape, tape copies are not desirable. We are seeking replacements for some lost, damaged or destroyed tapes. Currently seeking replacements for one episode of AIRWOLF from season 4.
NO MORE TAPE. YOU CAN BUY THE DVD CHEAPER AND COPY IT YOURSELF IF YOU MUST HAVE TAPE. DVD PLAYERS CAN BE HAD FOR LESS THAN 40.00 AND WILL LAST LONGER THAN A VCR. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A DVD PLAYER YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES. Thanks, M7
