The Last Remake Of Beau Geste

The Last Remake of Beau Geste (1977)
The priceless Blue Water sapphire is coveted by the heirs of Sir Hector Geste - his new wife, Flavia; his daughter, Isabel; and his adopted twin sons, heroic Beau and pathetic Digby. When Sir Hector takes to his deathbed (where he remains for the duration of the film"still alive, and dying!)), Beau absconds with the stone, to keep it from his stepmother. Flavia pursues him to North Africa, dispensing sexual favors to promote her schemes.
The legend of Beau Geste is oft told, this film even deftly includes footage from the earlier Gary Cooper version "Morocco Gold, Legion issue. Really heavy shit, big G" says Marty as Digby. Always funny and at times brilliant this is Marty Feldman's masterwork. Too long overlooked for DVD release, ours is mastered from a digital recording of a digital satellite play and is 9.5 out 10 or better.

There is a war in the world between the men and the women. A young girl tries to escape this reality and comes to a hidden place where a strange unicorn lives with a family: Sister, Brother, many children and an old woman that never leaves her bed but stays in contact with the world through her radio. Since the content of this picture is not as important as the pictures and allegories, the simple plot can not be described further.
